History in Leak Testing:

The originators of the first, Multi-Function leak tester in the mid-80's. This unit offered pressure decay, single ended, differential, mass flow, and multi-channel and burst all in the same unit. In the 90's came the Sprint LC, and these instruments are still in uses today.

A chronology of production milestones.

  • 1984 designed Temptron and Flow Tron. Benchtop thermometer and 4 channel mass flow leak tester. Non micro-processor controlled.
  • 1986 Sprint Leak Tester, Non-microprocessor
  • 1989 Sprint MT, first multifunction benchtop pressure decay, mass flow , burst tester on the market. Introduced the micro process.
  • 1993 Sprint LC. Micro-processor based multi function tester. Liquid crystal display, 100 stored programs with 4 channel concurrent testing - 4 times faster!
  • 1997 Sold Sprint LC to Uson LLC, Roper Industrial company.
  • 1998 Incorporated Zaxis to offer products and services for factory automation.

Zaxis Products:

  • Fully automated dispensing systems
  • The Acuspense Positive displacement syringe dispenser. Using microprocessor controlled stepper motor and an innovative color Palm IIIc as the human interface.
  • The VMP/ Varipump programmable positive displacement system using multiple microprocessor controlled stepper motors and touchscreen technology.
  • 2005 Introduced Isaac, a modular, described intelligent multi-function leak/Flow tester. Bench-top and optional detachable teach pendant. Interfaces with EtherNet many standard protocols with respect to communications
  • Present
